Help Joe Beat Cancer

As many of you know, my brother-in-law Joe has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.  He recently had surgery, but unfortunately the cancer had already spread locally to his pelvic and abdominal lymph nodes.  Joe has just begun the first cycle of his 9 week chemotherapy treatment at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital.  

While his cancer has a high cure rate, it also comes at high costs.  Short-term disability only covers a portion of ones regular pay, and Joe has not yet received his disability pay  for the past few weeks that he has been out of work since his surgery.  In addition to the decreased income, Joe & Nora are facing the costs of mulitple copays and prescriptions, as well as the costs for parking and other expenses when at the hospital for long days.  They also have to spend money on banking and fertility treatment in the hopes that they can one day give Liam a little brother or sister once Joe is cured.

Joe and Nora are fortunate to come from very loving and supportive families, but they need all the help they can get in this difficult time.  On behalf of Joe, Nora, Liam and their families, we thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
