Please help our family

My name is Lisa, longtime girlfriend of Yan, we have an amazing 3 and a half year old son together.   As most may know, Yan was diagnosed with germ cell cancer in June.   At first the cancer was only in his testicle but on our way to the hospital for his first surgery we found out the cancer had spread to the abdomen and pelvis.   Shortly after surgery Yan started chemotherapy,  it last for 3 months and left him very sick and unable to work.  A follow up CT Scan showed 2 of the 3 tumors had shrunk leaving Yan no other option but to have a second surgery that is scheduled for November 12.  This surgery is a very risky and has a long recovery process of at least 3 months.  He has a history of MRSA and the apartment we are living in is not a place for him to come home and recover.  We have had countless floods that and still have leaks every time it rains, there is mold and other things that are wrong and the landlord has yet to fix.  We have very high medical bills and because Yan can not work to meet his montly hours to keep his medical insurance we have to Cobra his medical which is very costly, on top it he has met his deductible and it has become very expensive to pay 80% of his medications.   On my income and Yans unemployment we have finally come to the point that it's not enough to maintain all the bills.  The savings we have we want to use to get out of this apartment but can't take the chance of not being able to pay for everything else.  At this time we are asking for help it took a long time and a lot to even ask for any sort of help but I feel it will relieve some stress and help us a great deal, especially the upcoming countless trips to from NYC and the time off  from work I will have to take for his upcoming surgery.   Any amounted donated will not go unnoticed.  Thank you from our family to yours.
