Jennifer Slate Memorial Fund

Initially, this page was set up to help Jennifer with expenses during her 3-year battle with cancer. However, after beating cancer twice, Jennifer lost her fight on 8/8/2022.

Her death was unexpected. She had been feeling pretty well other than that, she was having difficulty swallowing due to scarring and damage from the radiation treatments. She underwent a procedure to correct that and was expected to recover fully. Two weeks later, she developed complications. Pneumonia set in and made it very difficult for her to breathe. If you knew Jennifer, you know that she thought ferociously. She was even more fierce in her love and devotion to her friends and family. We are all still shocked and devastated by the loss.
