Help Me Pay For My College Tuition

Donation protected
Hello everyone, My name is Shianne, and as many know, I am attending North Carolina State University. Growing up, I had a very traumatic childhood. I lived in an environment where all of the adults in the household were intoxicated pretty much all of the time, and because of their negligence, I had to be responsible for my siblings and my cousins. Not only did I have to care for them, but I also had to care for myself and soon realized that to pass grade school, I'd have to do it alone. I didn't have money for a tutor or parent who was sober enough to help me. I had to learn how to be self-taught and how to problem-solve. Around the age of 10, my siblings and I were placed into the foster care system. Unfortunately, while I was in foster care, I was raped. It was one of the lowest points of my life. I felt defeated and vulnerable. I felt like my life had ended before It even started. I proved to myself over and over again that I was strong, but at that moment, I felt weak. I wanted to give up, but I couldn't. I couldn’t give up because I knew that people needed me and those people were my siblings. I couldn’t give up because I knew that I was meant to be somebody; I was meant to prove everyone wrong. And that is what I did. In 2020, I graduated from high school in 3 years, top of my class, with a GPA of 3.82. I also got accepted into one of my dream schools which is North Carolina State University. I was unable to attend in the fall semester, but I have the chance to attend this spring. I planned on majoring in Biology because my dream is to become a Physician Assistant (PA), and hopefully, one day, I’ll have my own practice. Unfortunately, I have been met with another huge obstacle in my life, and this obstacle is standing in the way of me attending college. Attending college is and has always been a huge dream of mine; it’s something that I’ve worked hard for. After receiving my financial aid for the spring semester, my tuition was reduced from $10,322 to $4,500. My tuition was due at the beginning of December, and I was unable to pay it. Luckily, my school gave me an extension on the deadline, and it is now due on Jan 6 at midnight. I am creating this GoFundMe in hopes of getting the money I need for my tuition. Any amount of donations and shares would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read and/or donate
