Michelle's Funeral & Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On Friday, September 26th, Michelle Annette Albaugh passed away after a three-year battle with cancer.

She was diagnosed with a rare type of Lymphoma, which could only be cured with a bone marrow transplant. On July 17, 2014, she received that bone marrow transplant, however, shortly after, she began to display a type of rejection known as “Graft vs Host Disease”. To treat this rejection, the medication that is given greatly suppresses the immune system, leaving her extremely vulnerable to illness. Unfortunately, because of her weakened immune system, she developed several severe infections that her body was just not able to overcome.

Michelle dedicated 15+ years of her life to Mullendore Elementary – first as a volunteer with the PTA, eventually working her way to President, then working in the Cafeteria for a short period of time and finally as an Educational Assistant for the last 12 years.

Michelle was a loving wife of 25 years, a caring and dedicated mother to two sons and a cherished friend to so many.

The goal for this fundraiser is to raise money to cover the costs of her funeral and to help with any outstanding medical bills.

The family has already received some cash donations, so if you have already donated or simply cannot donate, we just ask that you please share this with others.
