Lauren's Leukemia Fund

For those of you that know we, I love to run. Four or five months again I signed up to (FINALLY) conquer a marathon. As my training progressed I got SUPER tired...couldn't recover from long runs and stuggled to complete short ones. I also began sleeping every chance I could get. Finally, I saw a GP and discovered I was anemic. From there, my GP referred me to a hematologist and I had a bone marrow biopsy 10/16. That Friday 10/20, I was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. My treatment is expected to last around two years (with decreasing intensity and frequency as time goes on). I am trying to raise funds to help pay for future medical supplies, prescriptions, hospital bills and transportation to and from chemotherapy.
