David Mao’s Medical Fund

David Mao is a 15 year old boy who had a liver transplant about 1 and a half years ago and suffers from Graft vs Host Disease (GVHD). He is only 15 years old and doctors are giving him a bad prognosis with an 80-100% mortality rate. Due to the case being so rare, physicians are unable to figure out the proper treatment and are unnecessarily shuffling him around in the medical system. His condition has now worsened and he needs all the oportunities he can get. He and his family are victims of Hurricane Harvey and had to be evacuated out of their house by boat. They lost a lot of their belongings and financial resources went to paying for the damages to their house . Every dollar you donate here can help him and his family pay  for the treatments at MD Anderson and Texas Children’s Hosputal that he will be needing. Clinic physicians who would be able to provide him with more extensive treatment. He is loved by many, including his mother, brother, father, and friends. He is also a straight A student and utterly optimistic even in this time of struggle. Your help would greatly be appreciated.
