Jennifer’s Journey

Jennifer is a loving grandmother, mother, wife, sister, and daughter who is fighting for her life at North East Georgia MedicalCenter Ronnie Green’s Heart Center CCICU. She was admitted on Wednesday of last week to have a cardiac catheterization procedure, all went well. Five hours after surgery her femoral artery burst causing a life threatening uncontrollable bleeding that required immediate emergency surgery and multiple units of blood. As a result of this she now has pneumonia in both lungs requiring oxygenation by bypap machine. She is currently undergoing neurological testing to determine the cause of lower body paralysis. She is struggling to maintain her blood pressure levels and well as her oxygen levels. Mostly we need everyone’s continued prayers but any help you can provide with be appreciated in this long healing process. Her hospital stay alone may be close to a month not to mention her extended recovery period after which may require at home health, wheel chair, building materials to build a wheelchair ramp, as well as tons of other medical supplies.
