<div>Cody was one of the first members of Adapt Transition Services. Adapt was founded by Jessica Workman after she completed her Master's Thesis on the state of transition services for adolescents and adults. She discovered there was a gap in services for adults with ASD. Her goal was then to enhance these services by developing a program that utilizes the principles of applied behavior analysis.

<div>Adapt Transition Services practices the "Happy, Relaxed, Engaged" (HRE) philosophy. With this approach, we strive to continually learn about the individual being served, so that we are able to create an environment which supports the development of socially significant skills. We learn by listening to what interfering behaviors are telling us, creating an environment where an individual feels safe and in control, letting the individual take the lead in the process, and empowering them to engage in behaviors which maximize their contact with reinforcement.

We want to help individuals, like Cody, and families affected by autism improve their quality of life by providing exceptional community, home, center and vocational services.
