Help with medical + living expenses

I was diagnosed with a rare appendiceal cancer a year ago in June and given a referral to a cancer hospital in Salt Lake. I was turned away because I did not have enough money to afford the surgery, and sent back to the hospital which originally diagnosed because I was already in their computer system. They immediately took me in and with a life / death operation, were successful in removing my tumors. But there were complications with infection. It took 8 months to completely heal.  And I could not do the recommended special chemo that only gave a 30% chance of survival because of the complications. And other types I was told would not work for my particular cancer. I elected to not do the 30% survival type unless I'm on my last breath. And am now on a chemo, we hope will work.  And with each new day I pray to get on the targeted immuno therapy because the tumors did come back.  But I'm not a candidate for that as of yet.  I still feel it's the right choice.  And hoping to find the doctor who will listen.

So far I am surviving. But it's been very difficult financially. I was forced to move 3 times since I could no longer work. And having been self employed my whole life, I managed, but had but have no savings. I've sold all of what was valuable to me. I struggle with food and rent every month as my meager SSI simply is not enough! I live on generosity of friends during my treatment days (their couches) and with my son when I am able to be with him, I've never been this far down the financial ladder.  
Really, I am homeless.  

As I tell my doctors, I don't have time to be sick or die. I still have much I would like to accomplish. So I'm not taking this laying down.

For some reason Medicaid has denied continuing my medical. In the middle of chemo, not good! I'll be on the phone with them tomorrow, Monday. I'll update you on this.   

Funds raised through this campaign will allow me to spend valuable and precious remaining time with my son. Contributions will cover travel costs, ease financial and medical challenges that have been building over the past year and half, and will also cover end-of life expenses.
