Please help Eric live a longer more mobile life

Donation protected

Hello, as most of you know I have a Nephew named Eric, he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), when he was just a month old or so. And I can happily say he's currently 23-years-old. DMD is a slow progressing disease that is gradually destroying every muscle in his body, it will continue until his heart finally gives out. He is basically a quadriplegic, but has feeling from his head to his toes. He uses an electric wheelchair to get around; he no longer is able to breathe on his own, so he uses a ventilator that does it for him.

Eric has always had the will to live and never give up. The older Eric gets the harder it is to find help for him. As we all know insurances do not pay for everything. We have come across a new treatment that we believe will help Eric it is called Vecttor treatment. This new treatment in the US which seems to offer alot of potential in helping maintain/improve muscle function in Duchenne patients. It is a treatment rather than cure though. The treatment is something usually used to treat pain through electrodes but Dr Rhodes Vecttor's machine is unique in the way it works, and he has used it for treatments for many other muscular diseases

Eric has 2 special Angels in his life. They took him into their home, and treat him as part of their family. They care for him and take care of his medical needs. Problem is he will need to go to Texas for the treatments as well as the equipment.   The machine will cost $4500,  5 days of treatment and training will cost $1250, along with medical airflight from pennsylvania to texas, van rental, hotel rental,  equipment rental and nursing care for while in texas.

Here is where you come in. If you would please be Angels for Eric and donate what you can to help pay for Eric's expenses for the trip he needs to take in order to hopefully not only help Eric have a longer life but a more mobile life. We do not expect  Eric to ever walk again, but we do dream that he will have improved mobility in his hands so he can play video games for himself and an increase in heart function that is only at 25% right now .

For more information on this treatment please go to  www.vecttor.com, www.defyingmd.com/md-treatment  , or type vecttor in www.youtube.com to other cases where this treatment has really helped Duchennes boys.
