Support Jack's Recovery Journey

My grandson Jack Dillenberg, 15, recently suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury and other numerous serious injuries when he fell off scaffolding approximately nine days ago. After initially being treated at Thedacare Trauma Center in Neenah, he went by ambulance to Children’s in Milwaukee where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Jack is a wonderful and caring teenager who enjoyed hunting, fishing (a student of the first fishing club at his high school), rugby, wrestling, and being an older brother to James. Jack has helped us tremendously by coming over to our home and helping his grandfather while his grandfather recovered from a difficult cancer diagnosis.

Jack’s mom and dad (my son) maintain separate homes. My son is remarried and all three have never left Jack’s side. Jack has especially needed his father every step of the way. As parents, they have 50-50 placement. Jack will have a long road to recovery and will need future therapy, rehabilitation, and numerous medical appointments.
