Hollys Climb to Becoming an RN

As many of you may know, I have been accepted to start the IRSC RN program this Fall 2020. I knew going into this it was going to be time consuming, stressful, and costly, but after learning the full scope of everything it entails financially I have to ask for help. For example, just one textbook subscription that is required is over $1200. I know that I should have prepared more but due to COVID I have had to use my savings to pay for bills and unforeseen circumstances. I didn’t see any other way to keep the roof over Matt and I’s head without using our savings. So I am here today to ask if anyone has anything extra that could help me achieve my dreams I would be forever grateful. So much hard work and money has already gone into getting accepted that it would be wasted if I can’t purchase the necessary  materials to succeed. Everything I’m working towards is to eventually become a Nurse Practitioner so I can help save the lives of babies that have to spend there first precious moments fighting for their lives in the NICU.

For Someone who doesn’tknow me, my Name is Holly Reis.
I have grown up in South Florida and plan to stay here for the foreseeable future.
I have always had a love for helping those around me whether it was physical or mental, I was always there to lend a “helping hand” if you will.
Im the type of person who sets their mind to something and does it no matter how many setbacks are presented.
So for everyone who donates I want you to rest assured this money is going towards my school materials immediately, if the full amount is raised that will be able to get me all the way through my Bachelor’s Degree (BSN).
I understand everyone is struggling currently and I may be less needy than others, but if you are someone who believes in me and the future generation of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners who may be taking care of your babies one day I ask that anything you can give will be helpful and worth it.
