Brandie's Road to Recovery!

On September 28th a gloomy Sunday morning, a day were we wish we could go back in time, our beloved Brandie, a daughter, sister, aunt, a best friend of many, and loved by everyone who came in contact with her was hit by an SUV going over 55mph crossing US19, an 8 lane highway. The impact leaving her unresponsive at the scene with traumatic injuries. At the scene of the accident, the impact of the car hitting Brandie, left her broken and unresponsive, that they assumed she was dead. Paramedics immediately had her bay-flighted to bayfront hospital where she is currently being held in ICU with numerous broken bones, blown pupils from the cause of the impact, and currently on a ventilator, a machine that is helping her breathe. By her side is her devoted father Joe, a hard working, single father of three, who is watching his first born child, struggling to survive. Before this horrifying accident, brandie just became an Aunt to her first nephew Cameron Jack Dreamer, giving Brandie, yet another reason to be the wonderful young 24 year old she is. Ive never met anyone as wonderful and kind hearted as Brandie is. Unfortunately, Brandie does not have medical coverage, with your help, any help at all, it will take some of the burden off of this entire family going through this tragic time. This was a life changing tragedy that could happen to anyone, and it happened to our Brandie. - Samantha Huber
