Jared and Caylin Accident

My Granddaughter Caylin has a wonderful boyfriend named Jared.  They have been together for 4 years.  They were driving south on the I-5 in Oregon when they had this accident.  Jared was heading to college in Ashland, OR.  They were ran off the road by a semi-truck that didn't stop .  They went across the center median and into the path of a second semi.  The first semi that actually caused the accident just kept going.  The people driving the second semi not only stopped but helped Jared and Caylin.    Fortunately, they will be ok.  Jared and Caylin were just banged up and bruised.  But if they had hit the second semi a half a second sooner they would not be here today. The Highway Patrol said they were very lucky to be alive.  

Jared worked lots of hours at a gas station so he could buy this car so he could drive back and forth between Medford and Portland to see his parents and Caylin, and also so he could get a job in Ashland while he was going to school.  He saved every dime he could and only bought the car a couple weeks ago.  

He did not have comp and collision on the car and there is no insurance for his life's belongings that were in the car.  He had his computer he needs for school, TV and other electronics that have all been lost.

This young man deserves a break and I hope you will help.  Please contribute what you can and every dime will go to a good cause. He is a very reliable, responsible young man and has been great for my Granddaughter, Caylin.
