Let's make a difference to our local community! We're raising money in aid of Meals On Wheels Queanbeyan Inc and every donation will help. MoWQ (Meals on Wheels Queanbeyan) assists so many of the most vulnerable people in our community by performing vital services for them.

They aim to enhance the quality of their client’s lives through the provision of nutritious meals, at minimal cost, to foster client's health. They also  take clients shopping or shop for them, assist mobility-reduced clients or those with special needs in various ways, provide a weekly community luncheon at Queanbeyan Youth Axis Centre, and perform regular welfare checks on their clients - HUGELY essential during the current health crisis.

MoWQ's volunteers are an essential part of their process as their presence reduces the social isolation many of their client’s experience in daily living, and their workload has increased massively since the pandemic began. MoWQ's meal delivery now extends outside of Queanbeyan to Braidwood, Bungendore, Captain's Flat, Sutton, Michelago and the Cooma region.  Let's do our best to support an organisation that does such important work.
