Help Cody Hughes Fight Lyme Disease
I am Desperately reaching out to YOU for help for a young man battling Lyme Disease…
Cody Mitchell Hughes is the son of Victor and Pam Hughes from Ariton, AL. I have known Cody since he was in elementary school and attend church with him at “Glory To Him” in Ozark, AL.
Cody is now a 6’2”, 26 year old young man. When he was a healthy and active sportsman, he weighed 175 lbs. Since Lyme Disease has ravaged his body, he has plummeted to the low 140’s, struggling and unable to gain weight and no longer able to work. He has been extremely sick over 2 years now. Despite CONSTANT nausea, he forces himself to eat. The pain and stiffness in his entire body are severe and constant. He has difficulty walking and his knees often “give way”. He struggles with sleep due to pain and suffers with extreme exhaustion, depression, anxiety, irritability, poor short term memory/forgetfulness, and inability to adequately express his thoughts. He has recently developed numbness of left side of his face and has inflammation of brain, liver, kidney and pancreas. It is believed that Cody has unknowingly been suffering from the effects of Lyme in his body since junior high school (2006). Cody has been a life-long lover of the outdoors and avid hunter and fisherman. Outdoor life has been a common place for him as has the occasional tick bite. Who knew a “Tick” could be the cause of such a severe multi-systemic disease! His suffering is immeasurable and his quality of life diminishes daily. He and his family are growing extremely weary in their fight for his life!

I recently discovered some VERY TIMELY news about a medical facility through one of my real estate clients who has also been battling Lyme disease. Through much research, her father discovered The FAR Clinic in Bountiful, Utah that specializes in Lyme disease. After attending this unique treatment clinic in August of this year, she has been given a new lease on life!!! Her once very painful body, sickly existence and grim outlook has been replaced with relief, excitement, hope and a new love for life! She is at home continuing the Lyme detox protocol, exercise and supplement regimen she learned from the clinic and continues to improve daily.
This facility offers a 2 week intense in-house treatment program and also trains for the in-home treatment to follow. Their multiple in-house treatments/regimens cause medications to penetrate the strong lining of the diseased cells and kill what is destroying the body.
Insurance does not cover this and unfortunately the treatments at The FAR Clinic do NOT come cheap! The Hughes family, along with Cody’s primary physicians, have researched this facility and program and feel it may be the perfect answer for Cody! The cost is approximately $25,000 (including travel, hotel accommodations & food). Over the past 3 years, Cody's family has exhausted every means they have for additional funds. They have already spent every red penny on countless doctor’s appointments, tests, treatments, medications and living/travel expenses seeking facilities that offered treatments for Lyme and co- infections (over $150,000 to date) leaving them desperate and in unimaginable debt!
I am Praying to raise the $25,000 by the end of this month!
