Lucy's Cancer Battle

Lucy is our sister. A single mother of 2 boys, 17 and 14, at just age 47 she was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. She isn't a smoker and has never been a drug user. She carries our family's hereditary cancer gene called BRCA-2 which puts her at an extremely high risk of getting breast cancer, as well as other cancers. She was going in for her regular breast MRI results, necessary when you carry the BRCA-2 gene, and was shocked to find out she had lung cancer. Being both a mother and father to her two children, she is now facing with unexpected medical expenses and no funds to help with mortgage and bills. She will not be able to return to work until May, because she still needs a few more rounds of aggressive chemo. She is struggling to make ends meet on a daily basis as her income was the only source her family relied on to pay all the bills. She is a very hard-working mother and is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in any way she can when necessary. She is unselfish, caring, courageous, and is known for giving to the needy. Now, she is in need herself and needs our help to win this battle over cancer. We, her family, will be eternally grateful with every donor, small or large. The intention is what matters most.
