In 2012, my step-father was diagnosed with Renal Cell Cancer.  Over the past two years, his cancer has unfortunately spread to an area of a lung, an area of skin on his face, and most recently a part of his brain.  While cancer is one of the most commonly known diseases in todays world, unfortunately, it is a disease that really has no cure.  For anyone that has suffered from this disease, or knows someone that has, you know the toll that it takes on a person and their family, not only emotionally, mentally, and physically, but also financially.  WE all take for granted, the few dollars we may have in our pocket for a cup of coffee, or even the little extra in any given week we may have to splurge on take out.  Like most that are affected by this disease, there has been no extra for anything for my mom and step-dad.  Even making sure that there is enough money for gas to get to and from radiation treatments, or back and forth to the hospital the many times he has been admitted has been a challange.  We know that times are tough for everyone, but every little bit helps.  Anything at all that can be given would be emencly appreciated.  I am reaching out to friends and family to try and help eliviate the burden of co-pays, medical expenses, and basic everyday living expenses that has been bestowed upon my mom and step dad.  I thank you in advance for any generosity that you can give.  Thank you and god bless!
