She is a warrior !

Marcella has been my friend  since our school days. She remains one of my oldest and dearest friends who I find is the strongest and most brave women I have ever known. Cella amazes me with her continued positive outlook on life when life has taken a turn and thrown her a curveball to conquer. Picture yourself as a healthy person. One who takes no daily medications, one who rarely drinks alcohol, who never smokes, who eats right and has been healthy up until the moment your told you have stage 4 bilateral breast cancer that may have also affected your lymph nodes and liver . Imagine how you would take this news . Imagine how you would handle your life after hearing that. Chemo, hospital visits, hospital bills, loss of work, feeling awful . All of these worries plus more are daily thoughts for her and her husband Eric.  Maintaining a positive outlook and taking everyday Head on  like a warrior is what she continues to do . Now imagine if this was you and not Cella. I know personally for myself , I could never handle it in the way Cella is. As her friend, her family , her old school mates or frankly even a complete stranger we have an obligation in life and that is to help take care of one another when life's roadblocks appear.  Its one small way we can help her remain positive and take a financial worry away for a short time to allow her to focus on her health and that is what she needs more then anything right now.
