Laurie Jeune - battling ALS

We are raising money to support Laurie Jeune for her battle with ALS, which may be better known as Lou Gehrigs disease. She was diagnosed with ALS August of 2013.
Our goal is to raise awareness and provide support for Laurie so she can focus on the task of getting healthy again. The rising costs of medical expenses combined with peripheral costs have added a further weight to her challenges. Such as home aide care that insurance does not cover.
Life is particulary challenging during these times as we all have been in a position of having things going well, and then something happens like this to remind us the real value of life.
Those who know Laurie see that she is a beautiful free spirit. She loves dancing, lauging and enjoying life. She is a great example of a wife, mother, daughter, sister, nanny and friend. Her role as the matriarch of the family is as strong as the roots of her plants that she has grown, kept and cared for since she was a teenager. Laurie has touched people's lives as an extremely influential person and role model more than anyone could know.
Laurie is a person that has great strength and a desire to succeed, and for this reason we are raising money to support her battle. So please donate what you can to assist Laurie during this time of need.
