<div>Hi everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Nicole and I’m an A Level student with a big goal - next summer, I’ll be travelling to Sri Lanka to volunteer with a charitable project focused on supporting local communities and protecting the environment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During my time in Sri Lanka, I’ll be taking part in a variety of activities, including:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Teaching English and supporting sports activities with children in underprivileged schools
</li>
<li>Restoring classrooms to create safe and inspiring spaces for learning
</li>
<li>Marine and wildlife conservation projects to protect endangered species and ecosystems
</li>
<li>Rainforest restoration, helping rebuild vital habitats for local wildlife
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This trip will be an opportunity for me to make a genuine difference while learning from a completely different culture and environment. I’ll be working alongside local teams who dedicate their lives to improving education and protecting the natural world, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of that effort.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To take part, I need to raise £3,000 to fund the expedition. This covers essential costs such as travel, accommodation, and resources needed for the community projects. I’ll be fundraising through a mix of events, activities, and small initiatives - and any support, no matter how big or small, will mean the world to me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>There are two main ways you can help:
</div>
<div>1. You can donate directly here on my GoFundMe page.
</div>
<div>2. Or, if you fancy treating yourself, my Mum is donating 50% of her Tropic Skincare commission to my fundraising total. To browse the range visit her shop via - www.tropicskincare.com/sandracook
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This project is about giving back - but it’s also about growth, learning, and empathy. I want to bring those experiences home and use them to do more good in the future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can give - whether that’s a donation, or sharing this page. It all helps me get one step closer to making this journey happen.
