<div>My daughter Aliz, who was 4.5 years old then, was diagnosed with acute lymphoid leukemia in 2017. The diagnosis was followed by a 9-month chemotherapy session. Unfortunately, the disease relapsed in early January 2020, so the protocol of the treatment had to be restarted and we were told that after the second session a bone narrow transplant would be necessary. During the first cycle of treatment, in an immunodeficient state, she caught a severe fungal infection (mucormycosis), which not being recognized in time spread to her lungs, brain, hard palate and nose. Her nose and part of her upper jaw (maxilla) mortified, so it had to be removed. The infection was successfully stopped with an intensive antifungal therapy.

<div>In January 2021, the bone marrow transplantation took place, and the leukemia has been in complete remission ever since.

<div>After recovering from her primary disease, she could now have a plastic surgery to restrore her face.

<div>We visited several clinics and consulted with numerous doctors in Hungary but unfortunately we

<div>always got the same answer: facial reconstruction surgery is only possible after the age of 18.

<div>We were completely heart-broken by these answers but not wanting to give up, we decided to start searching for opportunities on the internet and this is how we have found you and your fantastic work, which has given us a new hope and which has made me write this letter.
