Formula 1 Dream

On 2/14/18 my brother Seth's life could have been taken away. It could have been taken away just two days before his 18th birthday. Taken away before he had the chance to live any of his dreams. Unfortunately, 17 of his school mates did not survive including a teammates sister.

Seth is a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He plays for their ice hockey team and holds a 4.5 GPA. He is planning to go to college and study engineering. I believe he has the potential to be anything that he wants to be. Seth's dream job is to be an engineer for a Formula 1 racing team. This interest for Formula 1 has been with Seth for as long as I can remember. Living in South Florida limits the chance of him attending a Formula 1 race weekend. I believe seeing this in person can only help inspire his dream and reach his goals.

I want to give Seth the ultimate graduation present. Also, it is a late birthday celebration for turning 18. As you can imagine, two days after the horrific event did not leave room for any celebration. I am asking for any support to help reach the goal of providing Seth with a weekend to remember during the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix. The dates are June 8-10 in Montreal. We plan to drive from my home in Virginia and stay in a hotel for the weekend. The hotel and ticket packages are quite expensive. F1 Experiences packages range from $699 to over $7,000 for Paddock passes. All funds will go towards buying the best possible package.

His high school memories will always revolve around the tragic events, but I want to do anything possible to give Seth a smile and positive memories that will last a life time. Help with the healing and hope to inspire him more.
