Help Justin Get to Europe!!

Donation protected
My name is Justin Mosely and I was recently privileged to be interviewed and selected to participate in the People to People Student Ambassador Program to Europe for the Summer of 2015.   Just to give you some background information about myself, I am a 14 year old 9th grader who is homeschooled by my mom, Mrs. Tanesha Mosely.  As a result of my hard work of academics, volunteering activities, and community service, I was rewarded with a wonderful opportunity. I am truly honored to know that I was chosen to represent my country as an exchange student through the People to People Student Ambassador Program.

I am currently seeking financial sponsors to help me with tuition ($7,513), and hope I can count on your support. In case you haven’t heard of People to People, please allow me to share some history with you. President Dwight D. Eisenhower founded the organization in 1956. He believed that if people from different cultures could come together in peace and friendship, so eventually would countries. The People to People Student Ambassador Program is designed to assist students from grades 5-12 in establishing an international understanding of other cultures; while acquiring leadership skills to assist and prepare them for life’s ventures.   As an Ambassador, I will be traveling to England, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland over a course of 20 days.  Currently, I am in my first year of studying German.

People to People Student Ambassadors are carefully interviewed and evaluated before their acceptance and I am honored to have been selected.  As a student with a fondness for music, namely the piano, the experience of being a Student Ambassador further affords me the opportunity to explore the culture of many noted pianists.  Currently, I am learning the final part  to the 3rd movement to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.  Some of the greatest pianists have come from Europe, such as: Chopin, Beethoven (my personal favorite), Bach and many more.  I am also the president of The Poetry Club and vice president of the award winning On the R.I.Z.E. (Reading is Zealous Entertainment) Teen Book Club sponsored by The Computer Clubhouse at Gum Springs Community Center. Attending this trip will enhance my knowledge on the lives, works, and masterpieces of these great musicians, which is a dream come true. My goal in life is to become an accomplished pianist and also work in the sciences.

The program tuition includes all transportation, accommodations, meals and educational activities.  However, I cannot do it without your help.  At this time, I am asking you for your assistance in reaching my goal of $7,513.00.  No donation is too small!  With your contribution, I will be able to move forward and participate in this prestigious program as a Student Ambassador. I definitely look forward to the opportunity of broadening my perspectives of the world and representing my community.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.  It is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Justin Mosely
