Edited to add: this campaign was set up by Forrest and Paula Wychopen, we live in The Woodlands, Texas. We are the people who's home was flooded.
This go fund me was set up specifically for the friends that have been asking how they can help get Forrest and Paula back into their home with all their necessary items.
Forrest and Paula got about a foot to a foot and a half of water in their home and have lost several pieces of furniture, some mattresses as well as bedding, a bed, couches, and kitchen items etc. They found out on Tuesday their insurance does not cover floods. Any funds that are donated will be used to replace those items. All money donated will be sent directly to Forrest and Paula and held in a personal account until we see what we actually need to replace and purchase.
Forrest and Paula have been married for 34 years. Forrest was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1999, and became a quadriplegic due to Advanced/end stage MS in 2012.
Forrest is at home, being cared for by his wife and children, one of which is still living at home as a secondary caregiver.
Two years ago, Forrest was placed on in home hospice care, as his MS has advanced to the point of becoming life ending.
