F George's Tumor!

George is the most energetic and outgoing person you will ever meet. So, it was obvious to everyone when a few years ago, his medical problems started. A hospital stay here and there, some blood transfusions for what we thought were just ulcers and medication after medication. Still no one had an answer. Then, after YEARS of feeling defeated, someone FINALLY found the source of his agony!
The Dr.'s told him, they believed it to be a golfball size tumor near his pancreas. After hours of surgery, we were informed, it was actually the size of a BASEBALL and it had layed it's tentacles on not only his pancreas but his intestines and stomach. His surgery was extensive and his insides had to be rearranged but still, the worst wasn't over. Complications of the surgery and infections have put George in ICU for 2 weeks with no definitve end in sight.
It has been a roller coaster but George has never given up. Staying true to himself, he apologizes to the Nurses for making them work too hard. He offers ice water to the limited vistitors he can have and asks them, "can I get you something to eat"?
George is a loving Newlywed Husband, Father, Stepfather, Son, Brother and soon to be Uncle. His devoted Wife Jennifer has not left his side one minute. Unfortunately, she has run out of paid time off and so has George. With four children, a mountain of unforseen bills and time needed for recovery, we want to avoid yet another struggle ahead.
George will continue to fight and with your help, continue to kick this tumor's ass!
