Matt King and by extension Patty Thiel have become close friends through a shared passion of Ingress. I have watched them grow and share a deep love for Matt’s son Myles. I watched the joy and excitement when they learned they were having a child together and the sheer delight when Ezekiel was born.
This morning I woke up to this message from Matt:
On Monday February 19, 2018 at 4:46pm a sweet little boy who loved to spread his toes was brought into our world. I was so happy to add Ezekiel James to our family. His big brother, Myles was excited making everybody in the room kiss baby brother and being a huge help around our home. Unfortunately last night Ezekiel was rushed to the hospital because he'd stopped breathing. In the ER, they tried getting his heart beating on its own but it just didn't work. My little boy went to Heaven last night. I don't normally post anything on Facebook but I had to share how much I love and miss my little boy already.
As a friend, wife and mother my heart is torn. There is no way to comfort the loss of this angel. No way for me to take away the hurt. All I can do is try to help take away the stress of funeral expenses. Please help me raise funds to assist Matt and Patty in this horrible time.
All funds raised will be turned over to Matt and Patty for little Ezekiel’s funeral.
