Ezekiel Chiari Surgery

Donation protected
Ezekiel’s journey started almost a year ago, March 19th he had his first EEG. It came back a week later that he had abnormalities and his neurologist requested an MRI. During his MRI they found that Ezekiel had right frontal lobe epilepsy, along with Arnold Chiari Malformation type 1. He also suffers from a condition called periventricular leukomalacia, which is white brain matter loss. (Typically seen in elderly people with dementia.) His second MRI was done in July 2018, which showed that his Chiari Malformation had at the time no obstruction to the flow of his  cerebral fluid going into his spinal cord. Now to today, February 2019, we had his 3rd MRI which shows his Chiari has enlarged and an obstruction has formed which he will need corrective surgery on. Surgery is required any time between now and this summer 2019. There is no cure for his disease, but this surgery will make Zekes life a lot easier. Everyday is a challenge for him. He lives his life in almost constant pain, you couldn’t tell by just looking at him but once you’ve been around him, you can see when he is in a lot of pain one day more than the next. The money raised will go toward medical expenses and traveling to get Zeke the surgery he needs. Unfortunately, my job doesn’t offer me PTO or FMLA because I am PRN. While taking care of Zeke, I will miss out on all of my income. Anything helps, even if you can not donate, PLEASE share. Thank you all in advance.
