Kenneth Lancaster, has been a long time resident of Mariposa County and Veteran who served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was commander of the VFW post in Mariposa and spent many years as the manager of Yosemite Bank. He has been randomly selected to take part in the Central Valley Honor Flight in one last tour of honor. He is very excited to participate in this great opportunity. He will be flown to Washington D.C. to attend the changing of the guard ceremony among other Veteran related tours. Mr. Lancaster is 86 years old and may not ever get another opportunity like this again. We are asking for help sponsoring his chaperone on his trip. The cost of the flight and stay while he is there is covered, but the cost of a chaperone accompanying him is not. We are asking for any donation you can spare to help this Veteran who served our great nation with honor and pride. We greatly appreciate anything you can contribute.
