Please help Bandit.

Bandit is a 9 month old Siberian Husky I rescued from the SPCA in May.  I noticed he walked a little differenlty but I was told he was checked out and everything is fine.

Four months, many visits to the vet and UC Davis, and over $6,000 later, all I know is that he has a neurological problem but they don't know what it is.  Right now I am waiting for results from muscle and nerve biopsies.  They have done all the normal tests plus spinal taps, MRIs, CAT Scans, and tests to check his nerves, etc.  Everything is normal per the tests but he has issues.

Fortunately Bandit is not in pain (at least he doesn't seem to be in pain) but he has a hard time walking and running.  He can't back up nor can he get up from a laying position (on his side).  I can only leave him alone for an hour or so at a time.  We have been told that his condition will get worse until I have to put him down but I can't give up on him.

I don't know if the biopsies will result in any path forward for Bandit.  If they have a plan I will work with them.  If not I want to explore alternate medicine like herbs, acupuncture, etc.  Whatever it takes.

Thank you,
Ken
