Help from Hurricane Harvey

8.30.17 during Hurricane Harvey view of my tree in the front yard.

Many of you my loving family and friends have been asking me what can you do. I know many of you feel as helpless as I feel in this situation. I like many others don't know what to do next, what comes first,  how long the rebuilding will take or even how much. As many of us in Houston were not living in Flood Zones we did not have Flood Insurance so our Homeowners Policy will not cover the loss or damages. FEMA to my understanding will not help rebuild but will offer through a formula some aid for the great many affected including public facilities like schools and all the supporting government help that worked round the clock during and after Hurricane Harvey.

A lot of you who know me, know how independent I can be, but I've learned through this journey that continues that I CANNOT do it all by myself. That I do need help. That it's okay to ask for and to receive help. So I stand in gratitude for those that were able to help physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally and now monetarily. I am eternally grateful for all of you for your Grace, Mercy, Love, and Kindness! ~Max
