Two years ago I had what was referred to as an "unexplained bleed" in my right breast. A few months later there was a repeat .performence , another "unexplained bleed".
Fast forward to present day. I have been diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in my right breast I have started chemo.
During preparation for the installation of a porta cath the doctors discovered cancer in my left breast as well. Not the same type as in the right breast but cancer non the less.
My days are consumed with doctors appointments, hospital visits and treatment. I deal with confusion, fear, anger, sadness and tremendous amount of guilt for the stress I have placed on my family..
The insurance company's motto should be "hurry up and wait while we look for reason's to deny your claim".
I have been self employed for over 30 years. Can't work, no income.
I have months of chemo ahead of me and in addition to the stress of dealing with cancer I am riddled with fear and guilt of the financial burden my illness has placed on my family.
