Close Up Trip to Washington D.C.

Help us get Brooke to Washington...

Brooke has a once in a lifetime opportunity to go with her school to Washington D.C. to be a part of the Close Up Program.  This program's sole purpose is to provide students with the opportunity to see our government in action first hand and return home with the experience and ability to participate in their own communities.  
Brooke is a hard working student with a 3.85 GPA.  She is taking a variety of classes, in this her senior year, like Government, Financial Lit., Spanish 1010, English 1010, Music 1010, and Adult Roles.  She enjoys meeting people and experiencing as much joy as she can in life.  Her energy is contagious!!
Brooke has always been willing to work hard for her successes and goes the extra mile to help out her four siblings and parents.  Her Dad is back in school full time at Utah State University and her Mom is working as a substitute teacher, hopefully teaching Brooke that it is never too late to further your education or to try to improve your life situation! 
So this is it, that proverbial knock on your door where Brooke is selling you ice cream sandwiches, candles, or something you don't really need in hopes that she can earn enough money to support her desire to go to Washington. 
Let's join together in gratitude that we aren't ordering wrapping paper kits, flavored popcorn, pizza kits, or discount cards that we never end up using!  And instead, put our money towards an amazing girl's future, and hopefully our future, too!  Kids are our future!!  Thanks for all support! xo
