Exxpedition Sail

I have recently been lucky enough to be selected for Exxpedition’s Round the World Sail! This is an all-female expedition created to conduct research on, bring attention to, and create solutions for plastic contamination in the ocean. I will be sailing with this expedition on their 17th leg, from Mauritius to Cape Town, South Africa in October of next year. 
As part of my acceptance into the expedition, I have committed myself to raising funds to support my leg. It is my goal to raise $11,000 which will be used fully by the expedition, their research, and the logistical requirements necessary for such an undertaking. 
In return for helping me make this journey happen, I will he planning community outreach and classroom discussions to help bring out findings back into our community.
