Victory over Cancer

Hello- my name is Terrance Bolden and this fundraiser will help support my Aunt Jackie Sells who is currently fighting cancer and its associated expenses.

The youngest of nine children, Jackie Sells comes from a close-knit family with deep ties in Mississippi and Tennessee. A wife, mother and grandmother, aunt to a dozen of nieces and nephews, sister in law and friend to many, my Aunt Jackie has strongholds of love in many directions.

A few years ago she shared some news with us that she had been diagnosed with cancer and for us not to worry. Typical for Aunt Jackie, her strong belief system as a Christian, life experiences and family networks created a courages spirit that is sometimes better than medicine.

The life Jackie Sells had before cancer changed but she adapted. Unable to work she turned what was once a hobby "crafting" to a thriving side business to help make ends meet at home.

The cancer was defeated, but came back and that's when she decided to take a trip down to Houston, TX - Cancer Treatment Center of America. She resides in Southaven, MS - imagine the cost of traveling back and forward and having to pay for transportation, hotel, and food.
