<div>In January of this year, <strong>my sister Evelyn (Andrea) was diagnosed with type 3C breast cancer</strong>. It's been a long, challenging year, full of 7 months of chemotherapy, and just now she finished her first breast surgery. She still needs to do radiation and possibly 5 more surgeries. Her cancer has spread past her breast tissue and into her lymph nodes, just touching her sternum.

<div>I am making this GoFundMe for her now as she needs to take time off work post-surgery. Unfortunately, she hasn't worked at her job for a year, so she is not eligible for FMLA. We are applying for unpaid leave via her work, but that leaves her with no money for her bills. She has a mortgage to pay along with general expenses.

<div>Andrea is my eldest sister and has had a long history of working in early childhood education. She has a passion for cats, owning 4 currently. She helps with different charities for cats and can be found feeding the local neighborhood kitties as well.
