Extension Fund for Emmaus School

Emmaus School is an independent Christian school founded 25 years ago with three pupils and two teachers. The School is registered for up to 75 pupils from Reception to Year 11 and offers a full range of subjects at GCSE and extra-curricular experiences. Families appreciate the moral and Biblical values on which the school was founded and the high standards of education that the school can provide. However, our premises are now too small, and some parts urgently need replacing. We also need improved resources for art, science, food technology and computer science. The current building has very limited disability access, and currently it has been necessary to hire the nearby village hall to temporarily accommodate one pupil with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and his class. The most cost effective solution is an extension for which we have planning permission. Despite a small parent base (around 40 families), we have already raised just over £450,000, which takes us over the projected cost's halfway mark. To meet our target of starting building this year please donate now to enable us to meet this target and ensure that future generations can continue to benefit from the nurturing experience that we provide.
