Hello I am Leslie, I am asking for help for our doggie Thumper our 9 year old Yorkie-Poo. Unfortunately we realized this week that Thumper was not acting like herself and come New Year morning was showing signs of weakness and something had to be terribly wrong. While rushing to an emergency clinic we weren’t able to get a reason for what was wrong but got her meds for comfort. Today 1/03/2026, we listened to what she was clearly telling us and rushed her to a different emergency pet clinic to get a proper diagnosis, she is losing control of her 4 legs and will require an MRI and surgery. We are in contact with a doctor that can perform the MRI and surgery right away. The one good news is that she still has feeling in her paws and is not yet paralyzed which gives good signs of improvement after surgery. Anyone that knows our family know what Nyla and Thumper mean to our family they are our older fur daughters and we want to do what we can to help Thumper, save her and extend her life with us… to us it is not her time we want more time with her.
