<div>Voor dit project reis ik naar Parijs, waar ik mij volledig zal focussen op één wijk: Montmartre. Deze historische buurt, met haar kronkelende straatjes, oude gebouwen en karakteristieke sfeer, vormt het onderwerp voor mijn expositie. 18 mei 2026 ga ik daar voor twee nachten heen.

<div>In mijn expositie wil ik straatfotografie en portret samenbrengen. Mijn doel is om de stad en de mens met elkaar te verbinden. Daarom zal in elke foto minimaal één persoon aanwezig zijn. soms klein en bijna verloren in de omgeving, maar soms juist dichtbij en confronterend.

<div>De volledige serie wordt gefotografeerd in zwart-wit, met een sterke nadruk op contrast tussen licht en donker. Door kleur weg te laten, wil ik de aandacht richten op vorm, emotie en compositie. Het contrast tussen licht en schaduw zal de sfeer van Montmartre versterken.

<div>Om dit allemaal te kunnen realiseren, moet er geld opgehaald worden. Al het geld gaat naar de prints en de aankleding van de gehele expositie. dat is best prijzig. De reis naar Parijs is dus volledig op mijn eigen kosten...
