Expenses Throughout Rob Maxwell's Cancer Treatment

Rob visited the emergency room on 12/30/2020 for ongoing pain, fever, and weakness. An ultrasound found a mass suspected to be a tumor, so he was referred for a CT scan. The imaging results confirmed a highly probable tumor along with additional pulmonary lung masses "consistent with metastatic disease." Emergency surgery to remove the tumor was performed on 01/08/2021 at which time the surgeon validated the malignancy of the tumor.  A rare and aggressive type of cancer is suspected, so the tumor was sent for pathology analysis. The meeting with Oncology is scheduled for 01/15/2021 to discuss a plan for radiation treatment. Rob is currently unable to work due to illness and his wife is a part-time teacher, which means she doesn't carry insurance through her employer. With substantial medical bills accumulating and a five-month-old daughter, Rob has experienced a great amount of stress in his ability to financially support his family at this time.  Numerous friends and family members requested a GoFundMe to make donations, so this fundraiser was created on Rob's behalf.
