expenses for Lenny & Lexie.

hi! as you may know, i’m Harleigh, i’m married to Tyler and we have 2 year old little girl together. i’m also 33 weeks pregnant with twin girls!
recently we learned that one of our twins, Lenny, has a heart condition. an interrupted aortic arch, as well as a ventricular septal defect. to sum it up, Lenny’s missing part of her aorta, and she has a hole in her heart connecting the bottom half of her 4 chambers. therefore i have to have a scheduled birth at a hospital an hour away from home so that Lenny can be transferred to a children’s hospital almost right after she’s born to undergo open heart surgery.
the reason i’m making this is because we have been worried about bills / expenses. we’ve been getting by paycheck to paycheck so far, but learning about Lenny’s heart, we’ve tripled in doctor appointments that my husband has missed a couple days of work for. we’re also worried about the weeks / possible months we’ll be staying in the hospital / Ronald McDonald house after our daughters are born & during / after Lenny’s surgery. my husband knows he may need to work during that time, but that’s the last thing we want so we’re trying to get as much saved as we can to help cover the expenses we need during our stay to hopefully let my husband stay with us as long as he can!
it would be awesome to get enough to pay all of our bills for at least one month! (hopefully we’re not in the hospital longer) the total for all our bills for one month would be $2,156.

we had our 2nd echocardiogram today & got more information on Lenny’s heart, more information on how they’re going to fix it, how long she’ll be recovering, etc.
& with that news, we were also informed that during Lenny’s hospital stay, Lexie (our other twin) will not be able to stay in the Ronald McDonald house with Tyler & I due to Covid. which is a serious no for me. i can’t stay somewhere without my newborn, especially while my other newborn is in the hospital. so now the game plan is to save as much as we can so that instead of the Ronald Mcdonald house, we stay in a hotel in columbus, that way Lexie can be with us, as well as Oakie, our oldest daughter.
Lenny’s time in the hospital is expected to be about 4-6 weeks, we’re hoping to save enough to stay in the hotel for at least the first 2 weeks. we don’t expect anything from anyone but i’m adding this to our gofundme in case anyone would like to help in any way. anything and everything is appreciated, including just good thoughts and prayers.
