Expenses for Heart Transplant

My beautiful Bestfriend of 46 years Sharon, 19 years ago received the horrible news that she had Cardiomyopathy.
She has endured having a Pacemaker which eventually was not working well enough so had to have a Defibrillator.
After her 2nd Defibrillator she has been told that she now has to go on the Heart Transplant list.
She is a mother of 4 beautiful children and young grandmother (51) to 3 grandchildren.
She married in December to the love of her life Chris. Chris is a great bloke who is devoted to Sharon and willing to move Heaven & Earth to have as long a life as they possibly can.
Within months she will be enduring the hardest part of her life. She is scared as you can imagine but she is also staying very positive, with support from her amazing husband Chris , family and friends.
The out of pocket expense will be astronomical.
They will have to go to Melbourne from Adelaide. This means time off work, rent in Melbourne and the list goes on. They will have to live in Melbourne for a minimum of 3 months possibly up to 6 months.
They will have to leave their jobs for all this time. Thank goodness they both have very caring and understanding employers but as we all know bills don't stop when we are sick so they will have double the worry about money.
