<div>Mijn naam is Isla Looten en komend schooljaar ga ik naar 5 VWO op Parmant Joris in Eindhoven.

<div>In de meivakantie krijg ik de bijzondere kans om met 19 andere jongeren op expeditie te gaan naar Zuid-Afrika. Deze reis wordt georganiseerd in samenwerking met Stichting Bambanani, een organisatie die zich inzet voor duurzame educatie en opvang van jonge kinderen in Zuid-Afrika.

<div>Tijdens deze reis zullen we kinderen ondersteunen die niet over basisvoorzieningen beschikken en het daardoor moeilijk hebben. Zo gaan we onder andere speeltuintjes bouwen en voedseltunnels aanleggen voor scholen en opvangplekken. Ik kijk er enorm naar uit om van dichtbij te leren hoe het leven daar is, zowel voor de kinderen als voor de lokale gemeenschap, én om mezelf beter te leren kennen door deze unieke ervaring.

<div>Om mee te kunnen op deze reis, moet ik €2800,- inzamelen. 
</div>
<div>Mocht ik meer ophalen dan nodig is, dan gaat dat extra bedrag uiteraard volledig naar de stichting en de kinderen daar.
