OPERATION: BIG BOOMING MISSION - EXPANSION FUND

Hello All!

The Riverpark Mission in Sacramento CA is celebrating its 50th year of continuous service.  Originally the Mission of Davis, we moved to Riverpark Drive in Sacramento in 1988. That necessitated a name change since it wasn’t the same city – hence, Davis Mission became Riverpark Mission.   Many are aware that our expansion and products over these 50 years is legendary – and if you don’t know, trust me, it is!  Our longevity alone tells you something!

OUR  GOAL IS  TO HAVE THE BIGGEST AND BOOMING-EST MISSION  EVER !!!!!!

SInce the last time we posted we hve had a huge amount of progress on the  renovations and landscaping .... thanks to generosity so far I am now able to lower the overall $$ target.

For those who do not know us our Mission is right is in the heart of Sacramento, the capitol of California, in the USA.  The area is very diverse and we have people on service from all over the world.

We have 21 dedicated staff members; more than half have been on staff longer than a decade, some over 40 years.  We have 5 OT’s and 3 Clears – 5 who have done Superpower and 2 who have done L’s. Seven staff are Tech Trained – we have our own auditor for the staff who are not Clear, we have a trained Establishment Officer to help the staff win on post AND we are capable of delivering everything a Mission has to offer.  Year to year we are always in the top 10 for US Missions.

We are strongly allied to our Org and our regional sister Missions.  We are constantly creating and involved in 4th dynamic campaigns.  We are determined to fulfill all that a Mission is meant to be; to   flood people up both sides of the Bridge to Total Freedom.  We really do love what we do and we are already a great Mission – now we are ready to take it all to the next level.             

We are asking for help finish our upgrades. We are keenly aware that most of you are donating to a lot of causes in our  constellation of organizations and campaigns. Thus, we hope that a LOT of people pitching in a little will create this without it being a strain.  For instance, if 200 people did $100 or 400 people did $50 and so on, it would get done easily.  I am not opposed to big donations!  That would be awesome, but this is a way to make it happen and not have to be a BIG donor.  Just sayin’.

We are lucky that we have a lot of talented volunteers that are donating their labor very generously at no cost (except cookies and commendations).  That helps a lot to stretch this money to cover materials etc.

We have some internal demolition and reconstruction to do, some cosmetic improvements, landscaping and of course all the signage that comes from the Scientology Mill and completes the image.
