<div>Das Schicksal hat mal wieder richtig zugeschlagen und dieses Mal traf es den 28 jährigen Prenzlauer Manfred Stofledt und seine 72 jährige Oma Renate. Beide verloren in der vergangenen Woche ihr zu Hause bei einem Brand, durch bislang unbekannte Ursache. Beide sind unversehrt dem Feuer entkommen. Und dennoch stehen sie vor dem Nichts. Keine Wechselkleidung, keine Möbel, auch alltägliche Sachen wie Duschgel oder Zahnpasta fehlen und nicht zuletzt sind alle Erinnerungen mit dem Haus zerstört.

<div>Manfred, genannt „Manni“ ist ein aufopferungsvoller Auszubildender in der Pflege, der mit Leib und Seele tätig ist. Um seine Oma mit den monatlichen Kosten des Hauses zu unterstützen, arbeitet Manni nebenbei noch in einer Prenzlauer Gastronomie. Und bei all den neuen Ängsten und Sorgen übernimmt die Versicherung nur die Kosten für die Renovierung und Hausrat, wenn die Ursache des Feuers geklärt worden ist. Dies dauert natürlich, denn Kripo und Brandermittler kommen nicht von heute auf morgen.

<div>Manni‘s Oma ist inzwischen in einer kleinen Wohnung in Prenzlau untergekommen. Durch Sachspenden konnte diese teilweise auch eingerichtet werden, aber der Auszubildende Manfred kann die Kosten für eine eigene Unterkunft nicht aufbringen. Ausgerechnet jetzt, wo er sich auf seine Prüfung nächste Woche vorbereiten sollte, ist Manni nur damit beschäftigt, die Wohnung seiner geliebten Oma notdürftig auszustatten. Und ihm selbst fehlt es dabei an allem, sogar an einer Bettdecke.
