Charles Jackson

On Tuesday, December 17th my mom passed away. She had been sick for awhile and my dad was taking care of her. She had no life insurance. Before her disability kicked in they were forced to put  hundreds of dollars on credit cards to keep up with her medications. He was forced to trade in their vehicles on a huge, handicap van because he could no longer lift her for dr visits and now with only one income we are having a hard time trading it in and getting him something with a smaller car payment. Now that she has passed away my dad is not only devastated but has bill collectors calling him. Anyone who knew my parents know that they were givers. They love people and try to help anyone who needs it. I’m not asking anyone to pay all of their bills. My dad is a proud man and tells everyone (including me) that he “got himself in this mess, he’ll get himself out” but he needs help. He is now down to one small income. He is in so much pain over my mom, I don’t want him to worry about his bills right now. As his family, we are doing all we can to help but I am asking anyone who was touched by my mom or dad to help him get through this time without having to worry about the bills he has to pay.
