Welcome to the fundraising page for the exhibition catalogue Magnified Ear 放大耳.
This unique catalogue, published by A.P.T Gallery, serves as an experimental sonic archive for the exhibition. It is available in the form of a 12-inch vinyl and a booklet, curated and edited by @curatingmatters.
Featuring contributions from artists and writers focusing on sound, the vinyl showcases sonic segments of artistic production, remixed with field recordings of the Deptford area by Sound Artist @Isaac Maxwell. Not only does it serve as background music for reading, but it also provides hidden messages and suggests the curatorial order of articles in the booklet. The booklet, meanwhile, features curators' texts in the form of an inner voice to resonate with the articles. All of this is brought together through the graphic design of the Designer Duo @In Good Company. Intl, resulting in a multi-format, engaging and experiential product.
As the exhibition project is self-funded, we are relying on your kind support to help cover the cost of printing the catalogue. By donating a minimum of £30, you will pre-order an issue of Magnified Ear 放大耳, which will be delivered to you by the end of June 2023. To receive your copy, please send your postal address to IG @jingwenweng_ or @happynoheya.
By purchasing this catalogue, you will not only obtain an engaging and experiential designed product but also support the hard work of everyone involved in the project, including contributors, editors, and designers. We sincerely thank you for your kind support, Ear would not be possible to be Magnified without you.

Magnified Ear 放大耳 is a group exhibition that explores the nature of architectural rhythm through sound dialogue that emerges from architecture and its space. The featured artwork includes sound installations, sculptures, film, performances, and text, questioning whether the sound of human interactions constructs architecture beyond its need to exist.
