Van needed to deliver supplies to the homeless.

 

Every small town and large city in America has a homeless population.  Countless of our homeless neighbors are struggling to make ends meet these days and I'm trying to do my part to help resolve this issue.  My old Ford 2002 Escort carried the last load of supplies back in August 2019 and I'm desperately trying to raise enough funds to buy a good reliable van.  Before my car died I was hitting the streets of Atlanta 3-4 times a week handing out supplies such as: socks, tents, sleeping bags, toilet paper, body wipes, shampoos, flashlights, blankets, scarves, gloves, toothpaste & brushes, soaps, shoes, t-shirts, backpacks, rain ponchos and lots of food.

I post photos on my Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/dtroppy?ref=bookmarks ) and people have sent me money (unsolicited) to buy these supplies. Please check out my Facebook page to see more of what I do.   I'm starting up a nonprofit for this homeless neighbors project.
