If you are local to the Hamptons, spent summers there, or any time then you DEF KNOW my family. All extremely hard workers, always willing to help a friend in need and who wouldn’t ask for help if it wasn’t necessary.
Among those wonderful people is my Aunt Claire Frank.... the OG at Starr Boggs Restaurant for MANY years, worked for the last 10+ at the Southampton Animal Shelter and has one of the biggest hearts, smile and laughs of anyone we know.
She is battling stage IV double lung cancer and although initially her tumors were shrinking and the plan was to return to work, recently she has been told she will not be able to do so due to the growth of her tumors. Many, many people have been praying for her and prayers DO work so please continue to do that! We are optimistic that they will find the right meds to fight this cancer. Recently she was in the hospital with pneumonia and now requires full time oxygen, in addition to her chemo and immunotherapy. She is on Medicare (applying for Medicaid) and Social Security but the bills are piling up quickly. For her to even get a portable oxygen supply, so she can leave the house, is considered a “luxury” and an out of pocket expense. Through all this Claire has remained very active and enjoys being social, around family/friends, outside for fresh air and even recently was still attending the gym regularly.
Even if you are not able to donate, please continue to pray hard for her and if you want to leave her some POSITIVE encouragement on this thread it is more than welcomed. If you need any help, want to remain anonymous or anything please message me!
